Date: 3-3-2010 Author: Janice Maxwell I wish to extend my thanks to all who organised, took part and catered at the David Maxwell Memorial Football Match on Sunday 28 February at Newforge. Although it was a cold day the enthusiasm heated everyone up. It was great to make contact with old friends and I personally would like to thank everyone for making Bradley, Josh and I so welcome. Now that contact has been renewed I am sure we will be informed of dates for the coming years and look forward to attending again. |

Date: 16-8-2009 Author: Kenny I think the most memorable moment I had in Vancouver was the sight of a certain rotund person emerging from the ladies toilets having dashed in to make a clothes change. The look on his face when he realised what he had done was worth the whole trip. On top of that, the boys did the force proud and were a credit to N.Ireland with their behaviour and were loved by the Canadians, mostly by the staff of the Elephant and Castle. |

Date: 18-6-2009 Author: Dylan Kerr BOUT YE Just to say a massive thank you to everyone involved in making the football festivals a great success. A lot of hard work by you guys goes into this and the fun I have as a coach with the kids is amazing, especially if you see them trying to dribble after spinning around 20 times lol. For anyone who knows kids that want to come to 2 days of coaching and games, spread the word around because it's an excellent 2 days of football. Although i had a quiet time with lots of rest and sleep, it was an amazing 4 days and the Belfast women are DEAD ON |
